Information for Summer 2018
Awarding for Summer 2018 will begin after May 1st. Students will not be required to submit a paper application for summer assistance - eligibility will be determined based upon enrollment and completion of the 2017-2018 FAFSA.
Students who have been awarded and paid on the Federal Work Study program for Fall '17 and/or Spring '18 will be considered for summer work study to the extent funding permits.
You must enroll in summer classes prior to being awarded summer aid. Please refer to the academic calendar for the last date to drop with a refund.INTRODUCTION OF YEAR-ROUND PELL 2017-2018 Pell Eligible Recipients may qualify for Summer 2018 Pell if:
- You did not receive full-time Pell payments in the Fall and/or Spring semesters (no minimum enrollment)
- You received full-time Pell payments in both the Fall and Spring semesters and enroll in a minimum of 6 hours for the Summer term (transfer students' eligibility may vary)
- You have not used your total, lifetime eligibility in the Pell Program
